Sauna Bliss Sauna Bliss characteristics
The Bliss patio sauna is made of high quality thermowood, which ensures long-lasting durability. All the main components, including walls, doors, windows, sauna platform and seats, are made of thermowood. Exceptions are the support legs and the seat frames, which are made of conventional softwood, as these are load-bearing structures. The seat frames are finished with Tikkurila protective agent and the support legs with Woodex oil.
Key tips for installing a pipe sauna
*A solid substrate – aggregate, concrete blocks, slab foundations or decking create a stable and well-ventilated base to prevent moisture damage and rot.
*Easy distance – install the sauna at least 3 metres away from buildings and trees to ensure the safe operation of the heater and flue.
*Wood protection – TimbersBliss OÜ pipe saunas are treated as standard with Woodex wood protection oil on the outside and Tikkurila sauna wax on the inside, which protects against moisture and preserves the wood.
*First heating of the heater – Before installing the heater, do a first heating outdoors to remove industrial paints and oils. This will avoid unpleasant smells in the sauna.
*Fitting the tiles – It is advisable to wash the tiles thoroughly before installing them. Unwashed stones can release dust from the surface, which together with the hot steam can get on the body and even in the mouth, giving an unpleasant experience. By cleaning, you ensure that the stones do not release anything undesirable into the air from their surface. This way you can enjoy the heat of the sauna without worry!
*If you wish, you can also choose different shades according to your preference. It is recommended to re-oil the wood from time to time, both inside and outside, to keep the sauna beautiful and durable for many years.
This way, your sauna will last a long time and every sauna session will be a pleasure!
