Features of the Bliss sauna
The Bliss terrace sauna is made of high-quality thermowood, which ensures long-term durability. All basic elements, including walls, doors, windows, sauna platform and seats, are made of thermowood. The exception is the support legs and seat frames, which are made of regular softwood, as these are load-bearing structures. The seat frames are finished with Tikkurila protective coating and the support legs with Woodex oil.
Important tips for installing a tub sauna
*Strong base – gravel, concrete blocks, slab foundation or terrace create a stable and well-ventilated base that helps prevent moisture damage and rot in the wood.
*Safe distance – install the sauna at least 3 meters away from buildings and trees to ensure that the stove and chimney operate safely.
*Wood protection – TimbersBliss OÜ pipe saunas are treated with Woodex wood protection oil on the outside and Tikkurila sauna wax on the inside as standard, which protects against moisture and preserves the wood.
*Initial heating of the stove – before installing the stove, heat it up outdoors for the first time to remove industrial paints and oils. This will prevent unpleasant odors in the sauna.
*Installation of stove stones – before installing the stove stones, it is recommended to wash them thoroughly. Unwashed stones may release dust from their surface, which, together with hot steam, can get on your body and even in your mouth, causing an unpleasant experience. By cleaning the stones, you ensure that nothing undesirable is released into the air from their surface. This way, you can enjoy the heat of the sauna without any worries!
*If you wish, you can also choose different colors according to your preference. It is recommended to re-oil the wood from time to time, both inside and outside, to keep the sauna beautiful and durable for years to come.
